Nigeria to adopt the use of Biodegradable Pots to reduce plastic waste - Austin Igwe PLASTIC pollution has become a real monstrosity in Nigeria. The urban centres are littered with single-use plastics and other plastic products; the rural areas are also burdened with plastic waste. Printrite Foundation for Sustainable Environment and Education PFSEE,is a dedicated non profit organization, duly with the cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, with it's headquarters in Federal Capital Territory (Abuja). Addressing the participants at the official launching of plastic alternative container (PAC) in Abuja, The Executive Director of Printrite Foundation for Sustainable Environment and Education PFSEE, Mr Austin Igwe said that despite the growing impact of climate change globally, public awareness is still lacking in Nigeria and Africa at large. Mr Austin Igwe said IPAT which means "I PLANT A TREE" was launched on the 15th days of October 2021. The project kick started with the school approved by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in Nigeria. He added that "I PLANT A TREE" is a project targeted towards maintaining the ecosystem and at same time, provide raw materials for the production of educational materials. PFSEE's initiatives include Zero lilteracy (ZEIL) for capacity building and awareness on Sexual Gender Base Violence ( SGBV), Drug Abuse, an Anti-Cultism; IPAT ( I plant a tree) for environmental sustainability via tree planting and conservation.

As Africa’s largest nation, joins the struggle to eliminate single-use plastics, Printrite Foundation for Sustainable Environment and Education (PFSEE) launched the Plastic Alternative Container, PAC yesterday in Abuja. PFSEE Donates 50 Trees to AYGF as Part of the I Plant A Tree (IPAT) Campaign. We’re thrilled to announce that as part of our I Plant A Tree (IPAT) campaign, Printrite Foundation donated 50 trees to the Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) to be planted at JSS Kado-kuchi and JSS Garki.🌱🌍 During the tree-planting initiative, we also engaged with the students, leading a powerful sensitization session on the countless benefits of trees and the importance of sustainability measures in their daily lives.
